David received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ferris State University in May 1984. He joined the firm in August of that year and became a shareholder in January 1996. David is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Accredited Business Valuation certification in 2002.

David is a member of the Manistee Elks Lodge, Manistee Moose Lodge and Manistee Golf and Country Club. David is currently Treasurer of the Manistee United Methodist Church. David has also served as President & Treasurer for the Manistee County Little League, Manistee Jaycees, and Treasurer of the Armory Youth Project and is a founding member of Manistee Sunrise Rotary. Krista attended Benzie Central High School. After working in the banking industry for 10 years, she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from Baker College in 2012. She joined the firm in November of 2012, received her C.P.A. certificate in 2014 and became a shareholder in July of 2017. She is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

Krista formally served as Commissioner of the Manistee County Housing Commission, Assistant Treasurer of the Historic Vogue Theatre, served on the Supervisory Board of Filer Credit Union and was secretary/treasurer of the Manistee Catholic Central Athletic Association. She was also a member of the 2016-2017 Manistee County Leadership Program. She resides in Manistee with her husband, Craig, and their children. Jackie attended Manistee High School and stayed loyal to her first job in banking for 29 years.  In December 2018, she decided to try a new adventure with the firm and brought years of experience and energy.

Ashley joined our firm in September of 2016.  Ashley has several years of prior administrative assistant and customer support experience.  She is a life-long resident of Mason County.  Ashley is very active in our community.  As a  mother of seven, she is actively involved in hockey, equestrian competitions, dance, and numerous other youth centered activities.  Ashley is a 4-H leader as well as a former director on the board for the Western Michigan Fair Association. Holly joined Richards and McDougall in January of 2022. She brings 16 years in banking with over 20 years of customer service to our team. Originally from Mattawan Michigan, Holly enjoys spending time with family and friends up North on the coast of Lake Michigan. After several years of visiting the Manistee area, Holly and her husband Don were married in Bear lake in 2012. Holly and her husband enjoy traveling, concerts and great food. Jacob joined the Richards and McDougall team in June of 2022 as a Staff Accountant. He graduated from Manistee High School in 2018 and continued his education at Grand Valley State University. During his time at Grand Valley, he was part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (CITA) program. Jacob graduated in April 2022 with a Bachelor of Business Administration from GVSU's Seidman College of Business, including a double major in Accounting Finance as well as a minor in Applied Statistics. After college, Jacob wanted to return to the area and get involved in the community where he grew up. He is a board member and volunteer for the Manistee Recreation Association (MRA) and is on the finance team at the Manistee Global Methodist Church. He is also a member of the Manistee Moose Lodge.

Jamie joined the firm in May of 2022 right after receiving her Associates of Applied Science with a field of study in Accounting from West Shore Community College. Jamie graduated with high honors, is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, and is certified in Microsoft Office and Excel. Originally from Adrian, MI and has been a resident of Mason County since 2014. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and shooting pool in her free time.

After working in the healthcare industry for 20+ years, Amy joined Richards & McDougall PC in November of 2020.  Amy has a bachelor’s degree in accounting information systems from Davenport University.

Amy has been in active roles in her community, formally serving as Treasurer of the Onekama Schools Board of Education, 4H Leader, Girl Scout Leader, was a past organist at Bethany Lutheran Church in her hometown of Kaleva, and the United Methodist Church in Manistee. She currently serves as Treasurer of Onekama Schools Athletic Boosters. She resides in the outskirts of Manistee County with her husband, Bobby, and their children.

Jory joined our firm in October of 2020. She is a life-long resident of Manistee and graduated from Manistee High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ferris State University in May of 2004. She remained loyal to her first job as an Administrative Manger for 23 years. Jory is actively involved in her community as the Treasurer of the Lake Michigan Lakers organization and a trustee on the Manistee 350 club athletic boosters for Manistee High School. Jory is a mother of two and you will find her enjoying her time outside of work with them.
